Technology applications

Just seeing the spectacular photography is certainly a perk and the ability to share is another. I was able to find some pictures a while back that were publically shared that I used for the Information Literacy slide show I put together.

Flickr mashups

Probably right now the application that I would find most interesting is the one where you plan a trip in Yahoo and add pictures to the itinerary.

DLS picture in Flickr

I am not sure I am doing this right. I created the Flickr account and uploaded two pictures, but I did not see an option for posting it on the blog there. As a result, I am uploading the two pictures here. I also uploaded a picture of the Italian ITDE cluster that I did library training for. The students are getting a dual degree from NSU and Sapienza, the largest Italian university.

7 1/2 Life-Long Learning Habits

I have to learn to make the time to get these activities completed and patience working throught the technology glitches like my computer not wanting to open the contract.

Advocating for DLS

As a librarian and member of the scholarly community, I hope to use this blog to advocate for Distance Library Services for students.
